If someone shared this with you, hi! We'd love to send the next one straight to you - sign up here
Hello hello!
I went to Torquay on the weekend and LOVED IT. There were some fab winter deals so 6 of us rented a house and had a very chilled weekend full of phase 10, articulate and little walks.
I ended up looking at houses in Geelong to rent (~25 minute drive to Torquay) and it’s wild how much cheaper rent is there. I could rent a similar place to where I live now in Melbourne for $300 less. My lease is up in a few months so definitely reconsidering where I want to move next. Melbourne is fun but it feels like a bit of a waste of money to pay a premium to live here when Geelong or further east is sooo much cheaper. I think I’m almost ready to move back to Perth too. Very grateful to be able to work from home. Lots of things to consider 👀
On the weekend, I actually went away with a group of girls I met on the last money sleepover! We’ve stayed friends and people are still messaging in the group chat months later.
We are hosting another one from the 20th-23rd of November, so if 4 days of yoga, a private chef, money chats and new friends sounds like your vibe then we would LOVE for you to join us 💃🏻

This is a limited time offer, and the best value comes when paired with a large sign up bonus
One of our team members is jumping on this offer to build towards business class tickets to Europe next year for their honeymoon. We’ll share the full breakdown of how that works in a future newsletter!
Travel deal ✈️
20% off selected Intrepid trips
Intrepid’s World Sale has 20% off a huge range of trips right now. There are plenty of fun trips to choose from, in destinations that range from Italy, Greece, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Morocco.
We found their 15 day Scenic Vietnam itinerary, running from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, has dropped from $2,615 to $2,092 per person, saving $523.
We looked at flights from Sydney to Vietnam and found return fares as low as $558. That’s almost the exact amount you save from the sale, meaning your discount essentially covers the cost of your flights.
I visited Vietnam earlier this year in June and it was great!
Other trips that are on my bucket list with Intrepid are their ones to Comoros Islands & Morocco but unfortunately 2025 is looking very full already. I’m definitely keeping an eye out on an Intrepid sale for 2026 👀

In case you missed it…. 🎙️
On the podcast this week:
In episode 187 of Get Rich Slow Club, Tash chats with Nick and Hayden about building Pearler, what it’s been like to grow a small, independent financial company together and how they navigated the highs and lows of the startup journey. They share how they’ve built incrementally, listened closely to community feedback, and stayed committed to creating a platform rooted in trust and transparency.
In episode 188 of Get Rich Slow Club, Tash and Ana unpack the latest RBA rate cut, bringing the cash rate down to 3.60% which is the lowest we’ve seen since early 2023. It’s the third cut this year, and they’re breaking down what it means for your mortgage, savings, and how to stay smart in a shifting economy.
Things I’m loving this week:

🕹️ Phase 10
This game is great!!!! It’s fairly easy to learn, good in a group of 6, but still heaps of fun if just 2 of you are playing.
